A morning service of worship
is made up of:
Songs of praise
Prayers in which we confess our wrongdoings and seek God’s
forgiveness
Listening to passages read aloud from the Bible
Talks to both children and adults about Christian faith and
living
Prayers of thanksgiving
Prayers for the sick and suffering people of our world
An offering of our gifts of money for the work of the church
in the world.
On the last Sunday of each month we celebrate
COMMUNION
and on other Sundays the sacrament of
BAPTISM
may be celebrated as required.
St Serf’s is an open community that welcomes everyone.
Whether you have been to church before or not we would be
delighted to see you. It is our hope that those who gather
on a Sunday morning will be led into an experience of God’s
love. We then go out into the world to live as God’s
people.
The pattern of worship follows THE CHRISTIAN YEAR.
